Air Freight Demand Rebounds Significantly in Peak Shipping Season

Release time:2026-04-27

With the arrival of the traditional overseas consumption peak season, the transportation demand for electronic products, daily necessities and holiday gifts has increased explosively. Compared with sea freight with long delays, air freight has obvious advantages in time efficiency and is favored by cross-border merchants with urgent delivery requirements.

Major freight forwarding groups have signed long-term cooperation agreements with international airlines to lock in cabin resources and stabilize air freight prices. At the same time, the combination mode of "air freight + express delivery" is launched to provide door-to-door integrated logistics services. In response to the tight air transport capacity in peak seasons, many forwarders have increased temporary charter flights to ensure the stable delivery of cross-border goods.
